Martin Brady

Martin Brady ( born May 7, 1947 in Virginia, County Cavan ) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician and senator in Seanad Éireann since 2007.

Brady visited the Franciscan Brothers College in Clara, County Offaly. Prior to his political career, he served as Executive Officer of Telecom Eireann.

In 1997, Brady was first elected for Fianna Fáil in the constituency of Dublin North - East in the 27th Dáil Éireann. In 2002 his re-election. In 2007, he could not repeat that success and retired now of the 29th Dáil. Instead, he was nominated by the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern to Seanad Éireann senator in 23.

Brady is married and has three daughters.
