Martin Fréminet

Martin Fréminet (* 1567 in Paris, † 1619 ) was a French painter and graphic artist in the Renaissance.

Fréminet was born in Paris in 1592 and went to Italy, where he was influenced by Giuseppe Cesari. 1602 he returned to France. The French king Henry IV and Maria de ' Medici commissioned him in 1603 with the decoration of the Trinity Chapel of Palace of Fontainebleau. This is one of the few works Fréminets, which has been preserved.
