Martin Frýdek

Frýdek Martin ( born March 9, 1969 in Hradec Králové ) is a Czech football player and coach.

Playing career

Martin Frýdek played in his youth for Spartak Hradec Králové and Agro Kolin. Between 1989 and 1990 he completed his military service at VTJ Karlovy Vary. He then played seven years for Sparta Prague where he was one of the best players. During this time Frýdek also made 37 appearances for the Czechoslovakia Czech Republic respectively in which he scored four goals. In 1997, the little midfielder for Bayer 04 Leverkusen. He could, however, just as little as a year to enforce it at MSV Duisburg. In 1999 he returned to the Czech Republic and signed with FK Teplice, where he was able to build in the first two years of his old form. After four games in 2001/ 02 he was singled out because of poor performance. In January 2002 he moved to the second league to SC Xaverov Horni Počernice where he played until 2004. Subsequently, he was active for the FK Semice. From August to November 2005, he played for Dukla Prague. Since April 2006, he played alongside for TJ Město Zbiroh.

Coaching career

2004/ 05 coached Martin Frýdek the FK Kolin in the 3rd Liga, the team got off, however, and he did not get a new contract offer. Since 2005 he is a coach in the junior section of Sparta Prague.
