Martin Haar

Martin Hair ( born 2 May 1952 in Zwolle ) is a Dutch football player and coach.

Career

The defender played for Go Ahead Eagles (1971-1977), HFC Haarlem (1977-1983), AZ Alkmaar (1983-1986), HFC Haarlem (1986-1988), Sparta Rotterdam (1988-1989) and FC Wageningen (1989). He celebrated his biggest success as a regular player at Haarlem in the 1981/82 season, when the club qualified for the first time in its history for the UEFA Cup. In 1982, he was the first winner of the Golden Boot and thus Dutch Footballer of the Year.

After his active career as a player, he pursued a coaching career. Under Louis van Gaal, he was an assistant coach at AZ Alkmaar and won the 2008/09 Dutch championship. According to Van Gaal moved to FC Bayern München hair remained under successor Ronald Koeman assistant and took over after his release in December 2009, the training of the crew.
