Martin Kotůlek

Kotůlek Martin ( born September 11, 1969 in Olomouc) is a former Czech football player and current coach.

Playing career

Kotůlek played in his youth for SK Těšetice and TJ Náměšt na Hané. In 1986 he moved to Olomouc, where he stayed for 14 years loyal, a one and a half year period of military service at Dukla Banská Bystrica apart. For Sigma Kotůlek came to 256 applications in the first league, but he scored nine goals. Between 1991 and 1998, the defender played eight times for the Czechoslovak and Czech national team, while he was in the squad for the European Championship 1996. Kotůlek 2000 moved to FC Stavo Article Brno, 2004 SFC Opava. 2005, now 36 years old, he moved to the second league 1 HFK Olomouc.

With a total of 412 games in the league, he has first of all active players with the most missions. Kotůleks play is deemed reliable and unobtrusive. Even off the court, it is quiet around him.

For the 2008/09 season was Kotůlek assistant coach at Sigma Olomouc.
