Martin Vunk

Martin Vunk ( born August 21, 1984 in Tartu) is an Estonian footballer, who is since 2013 in Estonia, the JK Kalev Sillamäe under contract and is a member of the Estonian national football team.

Career

Association

Martin Vunk came over FC and FC Kuressaare Balatonelle 2001 JK Tervis Pärnu, from where he moved to the Estonian record champions FC Flora Tallinn 2002. There he had only a short spell, coupled with little potential for use in the league, as the team won the 2002 and the Estonian Meistriliiga Supercup. Then it drove Vunk 2003 FC Valga, in which he was able to lay down for the first time in his career in stem formation. In Valga he spent the seasons of Meistriliiga 2003 and 2004 and completed 48 games for the club, where he could mark five hits. Due to its good performance in the two years, his former club FC Flora Tallinn wanted to get him again. So it was in January 2005 to return Vunks to FC Flora. From there on, he also made ​​it into the starting eleven and was voted in 2008 as the best player of that Meistriliiga season. In November 2009, he should be given for two years to the Swedish second division Syrianska FC. However, he was not happy there and asked in December 2010 by a resolution of the lending agreement to can instead move to another club. This FC Flora Tallinn upheld and so moved Vunk on 5 January 2011 for Cypriot club Nea Salamis Famagusta. With the league newcomer Vunk came at the end of season 2011/12 to seventh place in the table and completed 27 games in which he scored two goals. In July 2012, under a contract with Vunk Panachaiki from the second highest Greek league. After a half in Greece without any operating times he moved in 2013 to JK Kalev Sillamäe.

National

On 27 February 2008, he completed his senior international debut for Estonia in a friendly match against Poland, when he came into the game as a substitute in the 67th minute. Since then, he is an integral part of the Estonian national team and was the only player in 2008, which missed not one of the fourteen matches. September 6, 2011, he had to wait for his first international goal in a 4-1 victory over Northern Ireland in their European Championship qualifier, it was time. At the end of the European Championship qualifier they reached the playoff games in which Estonia, however, Ireland was subject to and lost by return match with 1:5.
