Martin Windrow

Martin Windrow (* 1944 in the UK) is a British historian, publisher and author.

Life

Windrow attended Wellington College and worked subsequently in the 1970s as the author of articles on military history and aviation. He also wrote a large number of books on the organization and equipment of military enterprises, most recently the French Foreign Legion and its history.

Windrow is associated with the Royal Historical Society in London and belongs to the Association of Foreign Legionnaires in the UK.
