Geographical location
The Martinique is a passage running east -west direction strait in the Caribbean, which ( in the north) and the island of Martinique lies between the island of Dominica ( in the south). Both islands are part of the Lesser Antilles.
Dominica is an independent island nation, while Martinique is a French overseas department.
The Martinique Passage connects between the Caribbean Sea in the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.
