Marx Reloaded

Marx Reloaded is a cultural documentary, which explores the ideas of the German socialists and philosophers Karl Marx and examines their relevance for understanding the global economic and financial crisis in 2007. This crisis triggered the deepest global recession in seven decades. She led the U.S. government to use more than a trillion dollars to keep the banking system from collapse. But today, the final impact of the crisis in Europe and the rest of the world are unclear.

The author and director Jason Barker interviewed for Marx Reloaded both Marx leading experts and critics of the current Marx- Renaissance. In playful animations of spectators Karl Marx accompanied in his adventures in a matrix of his own ideas.
