Mary Beth Peil
Mary Beth Peil ( born June 25, 1940) is an American actress and singer.
Mary Beth Peil is not famous for her film and television appearances, but mainly through the theater. She is a renowned artist on Broadway.
After a 20-year career as an opera singer, she decided to switch to acting. She was seen among others in the Broadway version of The King and I, for which she received a nomination for the Tony Award.
In 1998 she got her best-known TV role in the U.S. television series Dawson 's Creek as Evelyn, Grams ' Ryan. Subsequently, she was in major roles in the 2003 TV movie The Reagans and see in The Stepford Wives 2004. The theater, she has remained true to this day.
