Mary Howard de Liagre

Mary Howard (actually Mary Rogers, born May 18, 1913 in Independence, Kansas, † June 6, 2009 in Manhattan, New York ) was an American actress.

Life

Howard began her career under her birth name; along with her ​​twin sisters, she was one of the Ziegfeld Follies; on the side of Bert Lahr played on Broadway. Then she got a contract with MGM and played until 1942 thirty roles, including Abe Lincoln in Illinois. During the Second World War, it was part of the care for wounded soldiers.

In 1945 she married the producer Alfred de Liagre junior and retired from active business. Later, she stood to the side in a number of honorary positions charitable organizations.
