Mary-Margaret Humes

Mary- Margaret Humes ( born April 4, 1958 in Florida ) is an American actress.

Life

Growing up in Watertown, New York, she began her career with a supporting role in the popular TV series The Dukes of Hazzard (1980). After that she was seen in nearly 30 other series in guest roles, including Knight Rider, The A-Team, A Fall Guy, Night Court, TJ Hooker, Jake and McCabe - Through thick and thin, Matlock and in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

In 1981, she played a major role in Mel Brooks ' film Mel Brooks - The History of the World. From 1998, Hume was seen regularly in her most famous role as Dawson Leerys mother Gail in the series Dawson 's Creek in all six seasons. After the series end, she only appeared occasionally in television productions and films.

Since 1992, Hume is married to her husband Raul A. Bruce.
