Mary Selway

Mary Selway ( born March 14, 1936 in Norwich, England, † April 21, 2004 London, England) was a British casting director.

Work

Selway worked throughout their careers together with well-known directors, including Steven Spielberg, Roman Polanski, Clint Eastwood, John Boorman, Sydney Pollack, Robert Altman, Michael Apted and Ridley Scott. With more than 100 films, she was responsible for the casting. The British Film Award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts for the best young actresses ( Rising Star Award ) was dedicated in her honor after her death.
