Mary Ward (scientist)

Mary Ward ( * April 27, 1827 in Ballylin, County Offaly, † August 31 1869 in Birr ) was an Irish scientist.

Mary Ward became known not only by their microscope work and their drawings, but also because of an accident with a steam-powered vehicle in which she suffered fatal injuries and was the first fatalities of the history of motor vehicle traffic was.
