Mary Wineberg

Mary Wineberg (born Danner, born January 3, 1980 in Brooklyn ) is an American sprinter and Olympic gold medalist season, which starts on the 400 - meter track.

The U.S. 4 × 400 m relay, she won the World Indoor Athletics Championships 2003 in Birmingham bronze, at the World Indoor Championships in Moscow in 2006 and silver at the World Athletics Championships 2007 in Osaka gold.

As a single starter was 2005 and 2006 U.S. Vice - Champion and Hall 2007 Third U.S. Championships outdoors with her personal best of 50.24 s at the World Championships in Osaka, she came in eighth place.

In 2008 she was second in the U.S. elimination fights for the Olympic Games in Beijing. There separated them in the individual event from the semi-finals, but won the 4 × 400 m relay gold medal.

Mary Wineberg is 1,78 m tall and weighs 63 kg. She grew up in Cincinnati and graduated in 2002 at the University of Cincinnati in special pedagogy with a focus on health advice. On August 5, 2006, she married Chris Wineberg, former decathlete and coach at the University of Cincinnati. She is currently employed at the home improvement retailer The Home Depot.
