Maryam Keshavarz

Maryam Keshavarz ( born June, 1975, New York City, New York State, United States ) is an American film producer, film director and screenwriter.

Life

Keshavarz received a bachelor's degree in comparative literature at Northwestern University and an MA from the University of Michigan in professional Middle Eastern Studies. Before turning to the movies, she worked for some time as a researcher in the Department of Literature and Linguistics at the University of Shiraz in Iran.

At the members of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts Keshavarz received the degree of Master of Fine Arts ( MFA) in the directing department. Since 2003 she has been successful with several films in which they had each producer, director and screenwriter.

Keshavarz is bisexual.
