Maryland Route 291

The Maryland State Route 291 (abbreviated MD 291 ) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland, which runs in an east - west direction.

The State Route begins at the Maryland State Route 20 in Chestertown and ends after 30 kilometers in Millington on the border with Delaware. After crossing the border it becomes the Delaware State Red 6

Course

After the turn of State Route 20 east of Radcliffe Mill crosses the MD 291, the city of Chester Town on the Morgnec Road and meets at the intersection with Washington Avenue on the Maryland State Route 213 leaves the road the place in an easterly direction parallel to the Chester River. In the River Road southwest of Chesterville first branches off State Route 298 in a northerly direction from before for about a kilometer, the Maryland State Route 290, the route of the MD 291 and uses it leaves towards Chesterville.

To the west of Millington crosses the road, the route of U.S. Highway 301 from interchanges on State Route 701A south and State Route 701 is accessible indirectly to the north. In the center of the village of Millington MD 291 meets the Maryland State Route 313 east of the village and ends after 30 kilometers at the Delaware State Route 6
