Maryslim

Maryslim is a Swedish alternative rock band founded in 1999 in Stockholm.

History

Maryslim in 1999 when the band members met at a rock concert. Although Mats Olsson and Kent Axén had already written some songs together, but they lacked a bassist and drummer.

The band was known by a variety of live performances in Sweden and in 2001 they received at White Jazz Records her first record deal. It was the first single released Nothing in Common and the album Maryslim.

In 2002 Maryslim switched to Wild Kingdom Records and played a the live album Live 'n' Loaded. In the song 'High' n 'Loaded they were helped by Peder Carlsson. The albums Split Vision and A Perfect Mess followed. In the latter Maryslim who covered the The- Sisters -of -Mercy - This Corrosion title and got themselves Jyrki 69 of The 69 Eyes for vocal support to do so.

In March 2008, the band announced that bassist Urrke T will leave the band. For the last outstanding performances Peter Henriksson jumped. Since then, there have been no announcements about new albums or tour dates.
