Masahiko Tanaka (karateka)

Masahiko Tanaka (Japanese田中 昌 彦, Masahiko Tanaka; born February 2, 1941 in Tokyo) is a Japanese karateka. He was awarded the 8th Dan in Shotokan Karate and Instructor of the JKA Honbu Dojo in Tokyo.

Tanaka won first place in kumite at the JKA All Japan Karate Championships in 1974 and 1975. 1975 and 1977, he finished at the World Karate Championships in Tokyo IAKF first place in Kumite - single, 1980, he was first with the kumite team.
