Masanjia Labor Camp

The re-education camp Masanjia is located in the city Masanjia in Liaoning Province in the People's Republic of China.

The camp is officially ideology reeducation School of Liaoning Province. The women's section of the camp produced textiles. Several Falun Gong practitioners in this field must have been longer than expected detained and abused, according to reports. 2007, there was a hunger strike. Critics in the workshops products are made containing toxic pollutants. The labor camp Masanjia was mentioned in a report by a UN Special Rapporteur. It was also the subject of a documentary of the Chinese journalists Du Bin, who was consequently imprisoned.
