Masi Oka
Masayori " Masi " Oka (Japanese冈 政 伟, Oka Masayori; * December 27, 1974 in Shibuya, Tokyo ) is a Japanese- American actor and visual effects artists.
Life
Oka was born December 27, 1974 in Shibuya, a district of Tokyo. His parents got divorced a month later. At the age of six, he moved with his mother to Los Angeles. In 1987, he was depicted as a twelve year old on the cover of TIME, the title was: "Those Asian-American WHIZ KIDS ". As a child, an IQ of 189 was determined at him. In 1997 Oka graduated with a Bachelor of Science at Brown University. He then worked for George Lucas's company Industrial Light & Magic to get in the hope that one day an Oscar for Best Visual Effects. From 2006 he played in the NBC television series Heroes over four seasons Hiro Nakamura, a Japanese office worker who can bend the space-time continuum. In 2007, Oka was awarded in a television series for this role to the Saturn Award for Best Actor. After Oka in the first season of the TV crime series Hawaii Five-0 had a recurring guest role as coroner Dr. Max Bergman, he was promoted to the second season as the star of the series.
