The two- to three -storey building, outside urban areas, largely consists of roughly hewn stone and is used for agriculture and livestock economically. Its origin had the Masias in ancient Roman villas, which developed into its present form in the 16th and 17th centuries. In addition to the farm today use many Masias are abandoned and left to decay.
