Mason (band)

Mason ( born January 17, 1980 in Amsterdam, actually: Iason Chronis ) is a Dutch house DJ and producer.

Biography

At the age of six years Iason Chronis began classical training on the violin. From 1987 to 1991 he was also a member of the Kinderen voor Kinderen children's choir. Later, he began to produce music. In 2006, his breakthrough came with the single " Exceeder ". The original version had no vocals. The following year, appeared " Perfect ( Exceeder ) ", a new version with vocals from Princess Superstar. This single reached the charts in several countries and reached number 3 in the UK Singles Chart.

Currently Chronis works with his studio partner Coen Berrier on a debut album and it also had collaborations with artists such as the rapper DMC of Run-DMC, Kurtis Blow, Sam Sparro, Debbie Clare and the former Moloko singer Roisin Murphy.
