Masoud Haji Akhondzadeh

Masoud Haji Akhondzadeh (Persian مسعود حاجی آخوندزاده born April 29, 1978 in Mashhad ) is an Iranian judoka.

Akhondzadeh heard since the early 2000s among the best fighters in the world. He was 2001 and 2002 Asian champion in the category up to 60 kg. The World Judo Championships 2003, he was after a defeat against the Germans Oliver Cast mountain seventh.

In his Olympic debut in Athens in 2004 he reached the fifth place.
