Mathias Beche

Mathias Beche ( born June 28, 1986 in Geneva ) is a French- Swiss race car driver. He replaces with Swiss license. He will start in 2012 in the European Le Mans Series.

Career

Beche began his motorsport career in 1992 in karting. 2007 moved Beche into formula racing. He competed in the Asian Formula Renault Challenge and won a race. The season he finished as the fifth overall. 2008 Beche entered into the formula Asia at 2.0. He won a race and was eight times on the podium. With 144 to 215 points, he was runner-up behind Felix Rosenqvist. In addition Beche participated in two races of the Asian Formula Renault Challenge and the Asian Formula Renault V6.

2009 saw Beche in endurance racing. He first took part in the Formula Le Mans. He won two races and finished third in the Drivers' Championship. 2010 was Beche without permanent cockpit. He went on to four of five races of the Le Mans Series. Three times in the Formula Le Mans, once in the LMGT1. He scored in each category a podium placement. In addition, he participated in four races of the FIA GT3 European Championship. Also in this series he achieved a podium. 2011 joined Beche in the Le Mans Series for TDS Racing in the LMP2 class. In this he achieved with his team mates Jody Firth and Pierre Thiriet two scored victories and finished the season in fourth place from the LMP2 standings. In addition, he participated in a meeting of the FIA GT1 World Championship.

2012 remained Beche in his team that competes as Thiriet by TDS Racing this season. The racing series was renamed in the meantime in the European Le Mans Series. In qualifying for the first race Beche scored the pole position. He then won the race along with his teammates Thiriet. After the first race Beche and Thiriet led the drivers' championship in the LMP2 class. In addition, he will go in the 24- hour race at Le Mans 2012 for Thiriet by TDS Racing at the start.
