Mathias Moritz

Mathias Moritz ( born February 21, 1988 in Karlsruhe ) is a German football goalkeeper.

Career

Mathias Moritz played in his childhood with three different clubs in Karlsruhe, the DJK East, the FC21 and the SAC's, before he came to KSC 12 years. He went through the entire youth to the U-19, in which he was first-choice goalkeeper in the U- 19 league. He was also a multiple of the Baden Junior selection. He then moved into the U -23 of the Association.

In the first three years, Moritz was only the second team goalkeeper and came to a total of only 14 appearances in the Regionalliga Süd. Only in the 2010/11 season he was used more often and even moved for four games on the bench the second division team on. The following year, he was then the number one amateur and played in 23 games. At the end of the season, the first team of Karlsruher SC dismounted in the 3rd league, which is why the second team also was back in the league, because at least a league between two teams of a club must lie. For Mathias Moritz but this meant the rise to the solid number two in the first team and thus the rise in professional football. After the failure of Dirk Orlishausen he first came to an insert in the Baden Cup, in which he saved a penalty, and on October 6, 2012, he played his first league game at home third in the 0-0 draw against SpVgg Unterhaching.
