Mats Rits

Mats Rits ( born July 18, 1993, Antwerp) is a Belgian football player at the position of midfielder. Since 2011 he is the pro squad of Ajax Amsterdam with gaming operations in the Eredivisie, the top division in Dutch football, but should initially mainly in the reserve team ( Jong Ajax) are used and are built there.

Career

Youth

Rits began his active career as a football player in 1999 at the junior level of division club FC Walem from the small village Walem in the province of Antwerp. There he was active until 2001 when young and then moved to the youth department of the Belgian tradition club Lierse SK. Club career

After the young Belgian midfielder decided to remain with Germinal Beerschot, was ordered from the season 2009/10 of the U-19 team of the association in the senior squad, where he was able to very quickly gain a foothold and began to establish the same. His professional debut in the highest Belgian football league was Rits at the age of 16 years and 77 days when he appeared as a substitute in a 3-1 home win over the KVC Westerlo in 31 minutes for the injured Colombian Daniel Cruz on October 3, 2009. Already in his debut game showed the young Belgian of his class and in the 60 minutes achieved the same evening after a presentation by Bart Goor goal to 1:1. The Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam it was, finally, who took the young Belgians end of June 2011 under contract and he submitted a contract until the summer of 2013. At the Amsterdam club, he will be indeed represented in the professional squad and me exercising with the pros, in the early days but still in the reserve team ( Jong Ajax) are used. Internationally

Rits made ​​, among others, already acquainted with a junior national team of his native country. For the Belgian U- 17 team, he was so far ( as at 4 February 2010) in five countries playing in use, scoring one goal. Currently ( early February 2010) he stands for a match against the U -17 from Georgia not in Squad and is usually called only available in the national team.

Currently, Rits is with the U-17 National Team in the Elite Round of qualifying for the U-17 European Championship 2010 in Liechtenstein.
