Matt Horsley

Matthew " Matt" Horsley ( born June 9, 1972 in Wollongong ) is a former Australian football player. The midfielder won four Australian titles in his 15-year career.

Career

Horsley first played in amateur football Illawarra for the Balgownie Rangers, before joining the season 1990/91 in the National Soccer League ( NSL ) at the Wollongong Wolves. There he quickly established himself as a regular player and service providers, as captain led Horsley Wollongong in 2000 and 2001 to two championships and to win the Oceania Club Championship 2000/ 01. For his performance in the final of 2001 he was awarded the Joe Marston Medal.
