Matt Wagner

Matt Wagner ( born 1961 in Pennsylvania) is an American comic book writer and signatory. Wagner was best known as the creator of the comic series Grendel and Mage unconventional.

Life and work

Wagner, who is from Pennsylvania, in the late 1980s began to work as a professional comic book writer and signatory. His greatest artistic and commercial successes he achieved in this regard in the 1990s with the developed by himself and over long distances itself designed as an author and illustrator series Grendel and Mage.

In addition, Wagner has designed numerous projects for the publisher DC Comics: So he illustrated for DC some books for the series Batman, The Demon and Sandman Mystery Theatre and provided cover paintings for the Green Arrow series. Wagner currently lives with his wife Barbara and their two children protection Brennan and Amanda in Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon.
