Matthew John Lewis ( born June 6, 1990 in Sydney ) is an Australian football player.

Career

Lewis played for the U- 11 in the youth department of the Blacktown City Demons and in 2008 was captain an Australian national students on a trip to Japan. In summer 2008, he joined the youth team of the Central Coast Mariners and first played in the National Youth League. His professional debut in the A-League was Lewis on the final day of the 2008/09 season against Adelaide United when he came on shortly before the end of Dylan Macallister. Following the Lewis usually used on the left midfield position was also during the AFC Champions League 2009 Senior Squad of the Mariners, but did not play. In season break he collected at Blacktown in the NSW Premier League match practice and received the 2009/10 season with the Mariners a one-year contract as a professional, which was extended shortly after his evening for new in November 2009 for a further year.
