Mattias Asper

Mattias Asper ( born March 20, 1974 in Sölvesborg ) is a Swedish football goalkeeper.

Career

Asper began his professional career in 1993 at Mjallby AIF in the Superettan. In 1998 he moved to the Allsvenskan AIK Solna to where he won the Swedish championship in 1999.

2000 obliged him Real Sociedad. However, in the Primera División he could not sit down and came up with only ten missions. Then he was loaned in his second year at Beşiktaş Istanbul. After the end of the season he moved back to Sweden to Malmö FF. Here he succeeded in 2004, the second title.

In 2006 he left Sweden again and went to neighboring Norway Viking FK in the Tippeligaen. In the summer of 2007, the re- return followed in his homeland when he moved to the Allsvenskan for Erstligaaufsteiger IF Brommapojkarna. However, he only stayed until end of season, and in January 2008 moved to his hometown club Mjälly AIF, where he signed a two-year contract.

Asper stood between his debut in the 0-1 defeat against South Africa in November 1999 and his last international match in 2002 at three games for Sweden between the posts. He belonged to the squad for the European Championship in 2000 as the third goalkeeper behind Magnus Hedman and Magnus Kihlstedt.
