Mattias Nilsson

Mattias Nilsson Jr. ( born February 19, 1982 in Östersund ) is a former Swedish biathlete.

At the 2006 Olympics in Turin, he reached the sprint surprising 8th place His best rankings in the World Cup he achieved in the 2005/2006 season at Holmenkollen and 2007/2008 in Pokljuka, both with 3rd place in the sprint. He was also a member of the Swedish relay team that won the first Swedish victory over 4x 7.5 km in the season 2004/2005. Mattias Nilsson took part in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. His best result was the 34th place in singles. With the season he was ranked fourth

Nilsson is the brother biathlete Anna Maria Nilsson. In 2011 he ended his career due to health problems.
