Mauban, Quezon

Mauban is a Philippine municipality in the province of Quezon, in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 61 141 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 40 barangays. It is classified as a church of the first income class in the Philippines.

Mauban is located on the east coast of the bay of Lamon. Your neighboring municipalities are Tayabas City and Sampaloc in the west and Atimonan in the southeast and in the north it borders on Real. The island Cabalete is administered by the municipality of Mauban from.

The genus of wax flowers associated, the subspecies of milkweed plants, Hoya pubicalyx was collected in the surroundings of the village in 1913 by M.
