Maurice Klippel

Maurice Klippel (* May 30, 1858 in Mulhouse in Alsace, † 1942) was a French neurologist and psychiatrist.

Life

Maurice Klippel studied medicine in Paris. In 1884 he became assistant physician and received his doctorate 1889. 1901 he was hospital physician. In the same year he became assistant medical director at Hospice Debrousse. In 1902 he obtained the post of Head of Internal Medicine at Hôpital Tenon.

Klippel was considered a diligent writer, known for its neurological and psychiatric publications. He covered a wide range of medical topics, including histology, pathology, and congenital disorders. Klippel sat down to rest in 1924.
