Maurizio Bidinost

Maurizio Bidinost ( born January 10, 1959 in Cordenons ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.

From the late 1970s until the 1980s was Maurizio Bidonist the most successful amateur racing cyclist of Italy. Eight times he was Italian champion in the disciplines of One and Team Pursuit. In 1979, he finished at the Track World Championships in Amsterdam, ranked second in the one - and third in the Team Pursuit ( with Pierangelo Bincoletto, Silvestro Milani and Sandro Callari ). In the UCI Track World Championships 1981 in Brno he was third in the pursuit and in the same year Italian vice world champion in the time trial on the road. Then he stepped over to the professionals, and he was, as such, World Cup bronze medalist in the individual pursuit. In the same year he was third in the European Championship in two's team driving, together with Bincoletto.

Bidinost also launched 19 six-day races, of which he won three, 1980 ( with Bernard Vallet ) and 1981 ( with Francesco Moser ) of the Noumea and 1982, the Berlin Six days race with Patrick Sercu.
