Mauro Abel Formica ( born April 4, 1988 in Rosario ) is an Argentine football player. Since the summer of 2011, he stands at Blackburn Rovers under contract. It is preferentially used as an attacking midfielder.

CA Newell 's Old Boys

Formica was trained in the youth academy of the Argentine first division CA Newell 's Old Boys. In 2006, he signed his first professional contract there and completed within five years, 84 matches and scored 20 goals.

Blackburn Rovers
