Max Bunker

Max Bunker ( née: Luciano Secchi, born August 24, 1939 in Milan, Italy ) is an Italian author, comic book writer and publisher.

Life and work

After completing his studies Secchi worked as a writer and journalist for various newspapers. In the comic field he made his debut in 1962 when he delivered the lyrics under the pseudonym Esselle for the drawn by Paolo Piffarerio Western comic Maschera Nera and subscribed for by Raffaele Cormio science fiction story Atomik. A short time later, he slept with the pseudonym Max Bunker and created in collaboration with the comic artist Roberto Raviola aka Magnus several other figures, the comic series Satanik and crime, both of which were started in 1964. For bunker -known figures among the anti-hero Alan Ford, he also created in collaboration with Raviola in 1969. The mid-1980s, he founded his own publishing house Max Bunker Press. Previously, he had been the founder and editor of the magazine Eureka.

Besides his work in the comic field bunker also wrote several novels. His novel Agenzia Riccardo Finzi investigativa in 1979 under the title Agenzia Riccardo Finzi, praticamente detective filmed.
