Max Green ( born April 5, 1987 in Charles City ) is a German football goalkeeper.

Career

Clubs

Green began his career at FV 1920 Karlstadt. On change in the youth department of FC Bayern Munich in 2002 followed in 2006 by the commitment in the second team of Bayern. For this green debuted on September 10, 2006 ( 7th Round ) in a 2-2 draw at home against the VfR basking in the Regionalliga. His first game in the 3rd league, he played 23 August 2008 (4th Round ) 1-0 win in the away match against Eintracht Braunschweig. Two further operations against the VfR Aalen (0-0 ) and against 1 FC Union Berlin (0:0 ); Green thus remained in all third league games without conceding a goal.

In August 2009, Green moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth and was promoted by consistently consistent performances in the 2009/10 season to the goalkeeper. SpVgg Greuther Fürth extended his contract by four years to 30 June 2014. At the end of the 2011/12 season, he finished with his club the first place in the table, which meant promotion to the Bundesliga. However, Green was replaced as goalkeeper Wolfgang Hesl as the season progresses due to some serious mistake.

For the 2013/14 season changed green to VfL Wolfsburg. He signed a contract until 30 June 2016 and is intended as a replacement for Diego Benaglio. His first Bundesliga match for VfL he played 27 matchday of the 2013/2014 season against Werder Bremen in the second half, after Benaglio had to retire due to injury.

National

Green came on 20 October 2002 in Eschweiler his first mission as a national player of the DFB as he with the U-16 national team won against the Welsh selection 2-1. It was followed by three more missions in 2003 before he made his debut in the U- 17 national team on 30 September 2003 at Amel a 0-0 draw against the selection of Belgium. For this selection, he came in 2003 three more times for use.
