Max Hainle

Max Hainle ( born February 23, 1882 in Dortmund, † April 19, 1924 ) was a German swimmer.

He started 1894-1900 swimming for the first amateur club Stuttgart. In 1901 he went to Charlottenburg for the swimming club of 1887.

At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900 he was in the 200-meter team swimming along with Ernst Hoppenberg, Max Beautiful, Julius Frey and Herbert von Petersdorff Olympic champion. Max Hainle was also a member of the German water polo crew remained here but without a medal. At the German Championships in 1898 and 1900, he was more than 1500 m freestyle twice German masters. In 1902, he took second place at the European Championship in springboard diving.
