Max Méreaux
Max Méreaux ( born October 13, 1946 in Saint- Omer ( Pas -de- Calais ) ) is a French composer.
He studied with Jacques Castérède ( theory and composition ) at the Paris Conservatory. In 1973 he finished his studies in music education and choral singing with distinction. He was for several years director of the Conservatory of Saint- Omer, and is there now a teacher at the high school. Since March 1981, Max Méreaux member of the " Société des Auteurs, Compositeurs Uitgevers et de Musique " ( SACEM ) in Neuilly.
He created works for piano, orchestra and chamber music.

- Sonatinas for guitar and piano.
- Sonata for clarinet, cello and piano.
- Suite for ten solo instruments.
- Pentacle for Orchestra.
- Alturas de Macchu Picchu for baritone and orchestra.
- The " Concerto for Violin and eleven Strings " was awarded in 1981 the prestigious " Concours International de Composition Valentino Bucchi de Rome ".
- The " Concerto for Violin and twelve stringed instruments " is dedicated in Detmold Tibor Varga and his chamber orchestra.
