Maxime Laheurte

Maxime Laheurte (born 20 May 1985 in Gerardmer ) is a French Nordic combined, ski jumping and cross-country skiers.

Biography

Maxime Laheurte of Club A. S. Gerardmer operates Nordic Combined since 1992. Since 2000 he has been active in France at the national level. In the World Cup he made his debut in January 2005 in Sapporo. His first two years in the World Cup were for the young athlete training years. In December 2006 he was able to break into the world's best, as he could arrive at the two stations World Cup in Lillehammer and Ramsau am Dachstein in four races in a row in the top seven, twice even on the third rank.

At the Olympic Winter Games 2006 in Turin Laheurte belonged to the French squad, but was not used.

In the French championships in ski jumping in 2009 in Chaux -Neuve Laheurte jumped to 16th place in the individual and on the 4th place in the team competition.

While the French team in 2009 and 2011 was only fourth at the World Championships, Laheurte, Francois Braud, Sebastian Lacroix and Jason Lamy Chappuis won 2013 gold.

At the 2014 Winter Olympics, he finished with the team in fourth place.

Laheurte launched so far in three competitions in ski jumping Continental Cup in which he but clearly missed the points. He also took part in sporadically FIS races in the long run.
