Maxime Tissot

Maxime Tissot ( born October 2, 1986 in Sallanches ) is a French alpine skier. The slalom specialist since 2010 belongs to the A-team of the French Ski Federation.

Biography

Tissot took in December 2001 for the first time in FIS races in part, the first launch in the European Cup followed in January 2005. Since January 2006 he has been, almost exclusively in the slalom, regularly at European Cup races and took part on 7 January 2006 in the slalom in Pozza di Fassa with space for the first time 18 points. The first major successes reach Tissot in February 2006, when he became French junior champion in slalom and downhill. In March, he was also at the Junior World Championship 2006 in the Canadian province of Québec to use, where his best result was only the 31st place in the giant slalom. In his special discipline, the slalom, he fell out in the first round.

In the European Cup 2006/07 season Tissot drove in three slaloms into the top ten, with his best results were two sixth places in Salla and Pozza di Fassa. In January and March 2007, he also took part in the first four slaloms in the World Cup, but in which he did not qualify for the second round itself. Many failures had the Frenchman recorded in the 2007/ 08 season in the European Cup and he only came twice just below the top 30 until the end of the season 2008/ 09 he took ninth place in the slalom in Crans -Montana back to the top 10 In his two World Cup starts in these two seasons he did not reach the second round again. He succeeded for the first time on 21 December 2009 in the slalom on the Gran Risa in Alta Badia, where he won his first World Cup points with 15th place. Since then, he is an integral part of the French slalom World Cup team. More could Tissot twice in January 2010 points in Adelboden and Wengen. He also won for the first time in the Super Combined World Cup points. At the World Championships 2011 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, the Frenchman retired in the first slalom run. Two top -20 results reached Tissot in the World Cup season 2011/12.
