May Andersen
May Andersen, actually Lykke May Andersen ( born June 16, 1982 in Copenhagen) is a Danish model and mannequin. Andersen was known primarily for her work with Victoria 's Secret and their appearance in Sports Illustrated Swimsuits Issue. Although she had been arrested on a plane in Miami because of rioting, officially represented the Danish tourism program. Life
Andersen wanted to be a singer as a child, but at the age of thirteen, fell in Copenhagen on a photographer who convinced her and her parents from good opportunities as a fashion model, despite her young age. At the age of eighteen, she moved to New York City. Andersen appeared regularly in fashion shows of haute couture renowned fashion houses, including at Valentino ( Fall / Winter 1998 and Spring / Summer 2005), Christian Dior and Chanel, as well as in Prêt -à -porter fashion shows of Yves Saint Laurent, Nino Cerruti, Louis Vuitton, Trussardi or Vivienne Westwood.
