Mayuko Kamio

Mayuko Kamio (Jap.神 尾 真 由 子, Mayuko Kamio, born June 12, 1986 in Toyonaka, Osaka Prefecture) is a Japanese violinist.

She is currently studying with Zakhar Bron at the Zurich University of Music and Theatre (HMT ). It plays a Stradivarius from 1727. Kamio has performed with various renowned orchestras as a soloist, including the Philharmonic Orchestra of Monte Carlo, the Russian National Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic and the Zurich Chamber Orchestra. She won the first prize in the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2007.
