MB Trac

WF Trac tractors are the manufacturer Werner Forst - und Industrietechnik in Trier, which were originally developed by Mercedes -Benz MB -Trac, based on Unimog aggregates.

History

Until 1991 41.365 MB Trac were sold. Today is about 30,000 such vehicles in use.

Since 1993, the vehicles are still sold as WF Trac by Werner. The Werner made ​​earlier the special forest structures for the MB trac.

The WF trac trac technically has been strongly modified compared to the MB. It only four-cylinder engines from Mercedes- Benz have been installed from the Unimog. The technical highlight from 1993 to 2004, a 270 ° hydraulic swivel driver's seat, which allowed the driver to his seating position optimally adapt to the working conditions.

With the newer models from 2005 even the whole cab is pivoted by 270 °. The new models provide otherwise a completely new development based on the variable - power-split S -Matic transmission by ZF Passau and the Mercedes -Benz OM 904 LA engine represents the force can be transmitted mechanically or hydraulically to the wheels.
