MBM (architecture firm)

MBM Arquitectes is a Spanish architectural firm based in Barcelona. The comparatively small office in the old town of Barcelona has existed since 1951. Was founded by Josep Oriol Bohigas Martorell and 1951, since 1962 is David Mackay it.

Working

The office has designed many residential buildings and schools in Barcelona. The largest project was the general development plan for the 1992 Summer Olympic Games, in which an entire district, industrial district which was converted into a residential area. This residential area during the Summer Games Olympic Village, the apartments have been planned so that the most 2- bettigen Apartments athletes could be converted by a few alterations in 2- 4- bedroom condominiums. The remote runway was laid under the earth, it was the very popular beach town of Barcelona in the immediate vicinity of the center and the inner-city ring road with the Nus de la Trinitat ( Lage41.449292.19636 ). This road junction with roundabout appearance has a circumference of 1.1 kilometers, but is not completely round passable.

At the office today include the architect Josep Martorell, Oriol Bohigas, David Mackay, Oriol Capdevila and Francesc Gual. In the 1990s, Albert Puigdomènech was involved in the work.
