MC Lars

Andrew Robert Nielsen ( born October 6, Berkeley in 1982, California) is an American rapper, known by his stage name MC Lars. Although he is a representative of Nerdcore, he describes his music as " post-punk laptop rap" and himself. Considered the inventor of the genre

Career

Nielsen has worked with many different artists, among others einbaute Non Phixion 's Ill Bill and rapper mc chris, and was one of the first underground rappers, the post-punk and emo bands in his songs. Prior to 2004, he performed under the name MC Lars Horris, but changed the name because " Horris " was apparently like spelled or pronounced incorrectly by fans and press. 2010 Nielsen appeared as the opening act for Zebrahead, who started their Snapping Necks and Cashing Checks tour in Europe.
