Mcely

Mcely ( German Mzell ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 13 kilometers north of Nymburk and belongs to fulltext your real estates.

Geography

Mcely is located on the southern slope of the hřbet Loučenský on the East Bohemian panel. The village is located in the headwaters of the Křinecká Blatnice. East, the hill rises Holoviska (247 m). To the north stretched the forest area of ​​the Svatojiřský les extends (St. George Forest ).

History

The first written mention of Mcely took place in 1252 in the deed of gift of Frederick of Comotau about the town Comotau to the German order of knights, in the Lutobor de MOCl appeared as one of the 18 witnesses.
