Meaghan Benfeito

Meaghan Benfeito (* March 2, 1989 in Montreal ) is a Canadian water jumper. It starts in both the art of jumping from 1 -meter and 3 -meter board and in the 10 -meter platform diving. In 3 -meter synchro competitions, they jumping with Jennifer Abel, in 10 -meter synchro competitions with Roseline Filion. She is coached by Cesar Henderson.

Benfeito participated in Beijing at the 2008 Olympic Games. In the 10 -meter synchronized diving was with Filion seventh. They recorded their greatest success at the World Championships 2005 in Montreal. With Filion, she won the bronze medal in 10 -meter synchro competition. 2007 in Melbourne and 2009 Rome became the duo fourth positions respectively, 2011 in Shanghai seventh. 2009 and 2011 Benfeito was also also from the 10 m tower Fourth, their best ever individual results at the World Championships. The bronze medal won Benfeito with Filion in the 10 -meter synchronized diving at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and with their former partner Kelly MacDonald in 3 -meter synchronized diving at the Pan American Games in 2007 in Rio de Janeiro. At the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara Benfeito won bronze in the individual from the tower and silver with Filion in the 10 -meter synchronized diving.

Benfeito won a competition in 2009 for the first time under the FINA Diving Grand Prix. She is a multiple Canadian champion.
