Méasnes
Méasnes is a town in the French department of Creuse in the Limousin region. The municipality with 581 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) is located in the district in the canton of Gueret and Bonnat.
Geography
The community Méasnes on the border of the Indre is located at Lavaud, a tributary of the Creuse, between the towns of Gueret (35 km) and Chateauroux (50 km).
Neighboring communities of Méasnes are Montchevrier in the north, Aigurande in the northeast, Lourdoueix -Saint -Pierre in the east and south, Nouzerolles the southwest, Lourdoueix -Saint -Michel in the west and Orsennes in the northwest.
